Aeromexico aircraft crashed in northern Mexico during the hailstorm. 85 passengers were injured when the plane caught fire. Authorities said no one was killed.

The accident happened in the north-central city of Durango, according to the US daily New York Times.

Mexican Airlines said on their Twitter account that Flight 2431 was about to fly from the General Gaudalopol Victoria International Airport.

The airline had 99 passengers. There were four crew members. The injured were taken to the hospital.

Airmodex's chief executive Andy Konsa said the plane's captain was injured. But that's not deadly.
